History
ExecSupply is the new name for Willis Management Consultants an executive recruitment company operating since 1986 primarily in the Logistics industry.
At the beginning of 2008, Willis expanded its focus on Supply Chain recruitment with the acquisition of the team from True North Executive a well known niche business in that sector.
In April 2008, Willis was acquired by the Chandler Macleod Group, as a base to grow a national specialist recruitment business focussing on Logistics and Supply Chain at the middle and senior management level.
Willis was rebranded to ExecSupply to better highlight this specialist focus.

Our Approach to Recruitment
Following is an overview of the steps we take to fulfil each assignment brief. However our approach is far from standardised – and that is the ExecSupply difference.
Our approach is based on a behavioural competency selection model. Behavioural competencies are behavioural traits that underpin an individual’s ability to carry out a particular role or function. These competencies are examined in conjunction with questioning to determine knowledge or technical skills. We work with clients to determine a set of competencies that will lead to superior performance in each particular role.
Our comprehensive interview process focuses on identifying critical behaviours that address the competency profile. Every candidate put forward to a client has undergone this recruitment process.
Furthermore, this approach permits a standardised candidate comparison through our detailed candidate reports.
Reference checks are also conducted against the competency profile providing additional veracity to the interview process.
Our consulting team has a wealth of business and recruitment experience and we extend this as our unique value to the clients we partner with. This is of particular benefit when examining technical skills and position specific knowledge.
We offer interim management and permanent recruitment services and each service is tailored to the relevant competency profile, corporate need and culture and candidate pool. We are committed to providing a search and selection service. We don’t just throw resumes to our clients hoping that some will stick!
We strongly believe that people may be hired for their skills, but fired for their attitude. Advertising
Our ability to design and implement a targeted advertising strategy is one of our competitive strengths. Our consultants are trained to write a professional message that will generate an appropriate response.
Furthermore we understand the different imperatives behind press and internet advertising. There are two types of job seekers, Active and Passive. Active job seekers are actively looking for that new position and will look through press, online and apply direct. Passive seekers on the other hand aren’t actively looking but may be influenced by the right position if they see it. Press is more likely to “catch their eyes”.
Our corporate logo and image is designed to attract and arrest. Due to our longstanding relationships, we are able to ensure premium placement of advertisements.
